Though I've never heard of it till now, apparently there is a weak link in the 4 speed evo sportster transmission; a little doohickey called a cam follower. Made of aluminum from the factory, lucky for me there is a replacement in good ol' steel.
Aside from that, I've recently swapped tanks again; back to the first one i put on this bike but in flat brown. Initially, I only did it for the extra gallon of fuel, but once it was on I think it really pulls the whole thing together. I should've known to just roll with my first instinct eh?
